General Comments
Margaret Owens described our intent to get involved with “1st Friday” activities which are part of the Blaine City businesses being open later in the day / early evening on the first Friday of the month.
Margaret also reported that the Gift Shop is planned to be open starting August 2, 2024, which is the August First Friday city-wide business activity.
Gallery Report
Faith Worthley reported on the opening and thanked all those who participate in getting it up and running. She reported on the Gallery schedule, process to staff it when open, music / ambiance, fees / payment processes.
Marilyn Muehlbach thanked all the Members who participated in the Inside, Outside, and Beautification teams.
Wave En Blanc Report
Gaye Sawicki reported on the status of the various planning activities for the Fund Raiser (July 26th) and the Art Festival (July 27 and 28). She reported on the musicians, food vendors, security and porta potties that are intended to be at the Event in the Park.
She also asked for more volunteers to sign up for specific parts and handed out sign up lists.
