Profile / Bio
I have been captivated by light from an early age, and her photographic images often reflect its transformative power. “Like a plein aire painter, I work to create images from what I see around me, wherever that may be in the world.”
A traveler who lives in Blaine, WA, I have exhibited art from the many places I have visited in many shows in Blaine as well as at the Jansen eallery in Lynden, WA. In addition to wall art, I produced fine wood coasters and tablets of paper placemats using these images.
My art is featured on Fine Art America and my website: http://helen-worley.pixels.com. My constant challenge is keeping it up to date! The same holds true for Helen Worley Art on FaceBook.
I am also a self-published author whose book Hope Lives in the Garden – a tale of whimsy and healing was illustrated by local artist and friend Georgia Donovan. It is a mini-memoir about the gifts discovered in the journey towards healing from cancer. It is available through Amazon.
My impetus is to produce art that soothes, piques interest, promotes curiosity, inspires, invites contemplation, and brings beauty to wherever it is displayed.
