Hello, My husband and I have recently refurbished a registered historic home near downtown Blaine and have a home based business permit to rent out private and shared office space inside the residence. In the near future we plan to open up the home as a membership based coworking and social space. The home has retained its original woodwork and architectural features that could be a nice backdrop for local artists to display their work in the future as well. In the mean time, we want to follow and support the Blaine Arts Council and look forward to attending your upcoming events. We currently rent out a detached studio to an artist who normally uses the space 1-2 days a week, but can be flexible and is willing to share the space with 1 or 2 more artists. We also have room for possible expansion, with 2 more outbuildings that could be renovated into studio space as well. We will be advertising the existing studio at the Blaine Senior Center and on the community board at the Living Pantry. Thank you for your work keeping the arts alive in our beautiful town.
