I've always enjoyed constructing in 3 dimensions with a variety of materials, so when I discovered where I could go with pinecones* I was hooked. I've been making and selling assorted flower arrangements, wreaths, figurines and earrings with cut and whole cones since early 2023. I enjoy it thoroughly, but because I work full time in downtown Bellingham, I'm always fitting my crafting into mornings, evenings and weekends. *Pine cones come from a variety of pine trees, but there are several kinds of conifer (evergreen) trees that produce the cones I use - the giant sequoia and the metasequoia are cypress trees and spruce cones come from the Norway, the Colorado and the Sitka spruces.
