I am an artist who thrives on being outdoors. Needless to say, I am thrilled to be a part of such a beautiful community with so many opportunities to be close to nature. You will find me outside, with my little beagle, Seamus, on most days. I am currently making greeting cards, which I sell online, and also at two locations in Lynden, the Green Barn Grocery store and Bellwood Farms. My favorite medium currently is watercolor, which is easy to travel with. Sometimes I enjoy painting in oils, dabbling in portraits of family members. My art is usually of something that I think is beautiful in nature. I also enjoy painting dogs and people that I love. In addition to my art, I enjoy making quilts and some children's clothing which I sell at the Semiahmoo Resort coffee shop in Blaine. Making things brings me great joy and peace and it feels like playing and never like work. I am so glad that our community is finding a place for artists here in Blaine.
